Takze, moc se to netyka Ultimy, ale myslim, ze se to nekomu bude hodit.. zvlast tem, co maji CSS-DoDS-HL2DM pack a nemaji k tomu HL2 game. (Kdo ma ripped HL2 ma smulu a musi si najit svuj navod)..
A hlavne bych to potreboval hodit na nejake forum :) (tam, kde jsem to mel predtim, to nepochopili a smazali to jako nelegalni..) Do cestiny jsem si to jeste neprelozil..
So, at first, we should make a Folder and a registry key, which is missing in the HL demo/DM/CSS/DoDS version..
1/ The folder

Make a new folder named SourceMods in this directory (it must be YOUR directory of STEAM)
[i]C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\ [/i]
after then it should be
[i]C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods [/i]
(thats the folder, where you should install/unpack all the Mods)

2/ The registry key

a)
START->Run->(fill 'regedit')->OK
b)
search this:
[i]HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Valve->Steam [/i]
(Steam must be not opened, just marked)
(now you should see a lot of registry lines on the right side)
c)
CLICK with RIGHT button on the white area on the right side and choose NEW-> String value (translation from czech.. second line)
d)
name it SourceModInstallPath -> Right click on it -> choose CHANGE
write there the path to the new, YOURS SourceMods folder
(MY sourcemods folder:
[i] C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods) [/i]
Ok, now we are ready to install the KZ (and the oter) Mod.. Install it to the new [i]\SourceMods [/i] directory

3/ Application number

a) open the directory of the mod (e.g. KZMod)
(at me its .. [i]C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\KZmod [/i])
b) search for a file named GameInfo.txt and open it
(this file should be in every Mod)
c)Search for a number 220 (' [i]SteamAppId 220 [/i]')
and change it to 320 and SAVE the file
(this number is an identification for HL deathmatch :))

4/ The shortcut

a)Jump in Steam (you would NOT find there the mods, because you havent the full HL2 version)
b) open My Games and search for (e.g.) HL2: DM
c) RIGHT click on it -> Properties -> click 'Create desktop shortcut'
d) find the new shortcut -> Right click -> Properties and change the Destination / Target (translation from czech windows :P) to THIS:
" [i]C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 320 -game "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\kzmod [/i]"
(of course, there must be YOUR path to the mod)
and save it..

5/ Play :)

Now just doubleclick on the new shortcut, the steam will show you, he's launching HL2:DM, but dont worry, because of the other path it will launch the Mod..

I was happy to write this down, because I searched a long time for a possibility to run the mods with my CSS/HL2DM/DoDS DVD :D
